Every woman whom has watched this wud feel the same about believing in love and having true friendships in life on top of success, career, $$ or a comfortable living that we want. i was watching this alone in my room with having my kitty fidgeted, tossed and turned(during his sleep) on top of my laptop's keyboard as i laughed, choked and felt the emotions in many parts of this movie. At the back of my mind, i am totally moved by the fact that i do have true gfs in existence who have the heart, sensitivity & beautiful personalities. Similarly in this movie, we are just addicted to one another's presence. There are always been many sharings of work, family, personal "dilemmas"& !excitements! besides having great coffee evenings, sumptuous dinner, best laughters or some shopping..the company of one another greatly makes our day.

on the other hand, LOVE is a handful of tell tales for us(me & my girls). i felt so much for Carrie's(Sarah Jessica Parker) role as a writer in S&C. The Love between a man & a woman, being a part of each other's life for many yrs involves a great deal of emotions, affection, feelings, trust, understanding, integrity which is truly an unbreakable bond of loyalty. For Carrie, to get married age of 40 isn't just abt living together in a fancy penthouse suite or sharing great sex but her profound love to her ten yrs sweetheart, Big(Chris North) was strongly felt in a book called "Love Letters by Great Men" that Carrie found inspiring & she reads to him weeks before she unexpectedly planned a simple wedding reception into lavish one. The more lavish the wedding has gotten Big into doubts abt marryg C as it'll be his third commitment. Big's doubts has rather made him decided not to go thru the ceremony(on the nite b4 the wed) althou he did changed his mind on the big day itself but his actions have already humiliated & betrayed Carrie who has left their library(wedding) venue at shock of Big didnt turn up. The wedding did not happen.

Despaired and heart broken Carrie has her gfs stood by her thereafter. Her supposed (booked)honeymoon to Mexico is covered by having her lovelies; Samantha(Kim Cattrall), Miranda(Cynthia Nixon) & Charlotte(Kristin Davis) with her and all four women regarded the trip as a de-stress retreat for them to collect themselves. On her return to New York, Carrie hires an assistant, Louise(Jennifer Hudson), to help her move back into her old apartment and manage her administration. Big has since wrote her dozens of letters copied from the "Love Letters of Great Men", culminating with one of his own where he apologizes for screwing it up and promises to love her forever.

A close to perfect ending proceeded when Carrie travels to the penthouse Big had bought for them to collect a pair of shoes she had left there. She finds Big in the walk-in closet he had built for her(a gorgeous one, i must say), and the moment she sees him, her anger at his betrayal dissipates. She runs into his arms and they share a passionate kiss. After spending the final hour in their apartment together, talking and apologizing to one another, Big proposes to Carrie properly, using one of her shoes in place of a ring. They later marry alone, in a simple wedding in New York City Hall, followed by a get-together at a local diner with friends.

i simply awed when Big whispered to Carrie once they gotten married, "Ever thine. Ever mine. Ever ours.."(from Ludwig Van Beethoven's "Immortal Beloved"). I choked at those lines. It is all just about them. The two of them. Like Carrie & Big wanted. Like how i want with someone i love. Someday in future.

So Sex and the City is a must watch, girls. Gather ur lady pals for it is not all that girly girly show. Love is to spread around all year round & it does not have to happen in Manhattan, New York City only yeah.. :P Enjoy...
