it was an awesome weekend. enjoyed fascinating krabi with mum and the boys thou trip's too short. one bro of mine in particular kpt insisting we shop ard while the other two wanted adventure (sadly by far from its name since we had to forgo some ruff activities..hehe) moments. and mum, for we know she cant keep walking far distance and for long hours, we (disheartened) had to leave her behind in the spacious hotel room, all by herself, with food and entertainment to keep her company. basically, i had to layan masing2 nyer needs and ended up exhausting myself but really its worth it. in particular we enjoyed our island hopping trip to Chicken (one big ayam), Poda and Tab islands. the last island stop was super cool since the waters are such a temptation. it was clear with the cooling breeze, we had our half hour swim right before the weather starts to drizzle. we went off in rustic sampan (hey speedy one ya'noe) in smiles and excitements and came back with tak puas nak lagi! faces.

Ao nang area is a remote place with dispersion of muslim community, which one should seek to discover what it has to offer. i sooo loved thai national dish - the papaya salad, spicy and sweet sauces mixed with combination of vegies. places to eat there are not hard to find yet muslims should be cautious of a stall or a restaurant that sells pork. i recalled shopping in krabi town is as similar when i was in bali. one has to be all ready to walk far distances and endure the heaty weather. so be equipped with sunblock, cap and a sunglass. shops or the mended bazaar stalls carries similar goods that we can find and bargain heavily for. otherwise not much to look for since majority sells beach wears, hats, caps, souvenirs, bagpacks, slippers etc. massages there, are not-to-to-be-missed for they're heavenly! there can be found several competitive deals of different type of massages ranging from their thai traditional to the foot reflex offered both indoor and outdoor. price is reasonable equivalent to less than 15SGD for an hr. if one dun mind paying an extra 100 baht (4-5SGD) for an equally good treat, just book one within ur hotel stay. me and mum did. after an exhausted evening, we took our long cold shower and pampared oursleves with an hour indulgence of traditional and foot reflex. the two petite therapists have strong hands i tell you. gosh i had to tahan the pain when she pressed certain sensitive points on my body with her elbow!! ouch! gigit bantal pun tak sempat! imagine that..

as a recap, just some pictures to share on our krabi experience. perhaps will get there (again!) soon with my girls.
